16 uplights is adequate for a small to medium sized room. 16 uplights can also be used to specifically light one focal point like drapery, columns, decor or signage. We also see 16 uplights used to light decor and focal points only.

We find that 32 uplights is a very comfortable amount of uplighting for spaces in Pittsburgh. Often we are able to distribute uplights on every wall and there are sometimes a few left over to light decor or entrances.

Uplight rental costs vary depending on the provider and services included such as delivery and installation.
Our uplight packages include (16-48) uplights and range in cost from $500-1,500.

Every venue and room is entirely unique, so uplighting will look different in each venue, depending on the architecture and floor plan of the room.
The same quantity of uplights will have an entirely different impact when used in two different rooms.
We generally feel that uplighting begins to make an impact when you include 16+ uplights.
For a ballroom, we generally recommend including at least 32 uplights to ensure that each wall is evenly lit. However, we often include more uplights for events that include investments in drape, decor, signage or other focal points. We have lit events with 100+ uplights and had no trouble allocating them throughout the space.
Our opinion is that more lighting is always going to create a more layered effect. For a more intimate event, 16-24 uplights can be enough to create a lovely ambiance.

Our uplighting can be customized to any color. The options are truly limitless and our team can color mix live on-site at the venue.
We frequently light weddings and formal events in a warm white light, that reminds people of candlelight. This candle light color is flattering for most venues and color schemes.
However, we are open to uplighting your event in any color of your choice. We frequently color wash venues in one color or light venues in multiple colors for holidays or themed events.

Yes, our uplighting is all wireless and cable-free.

Yes, our uplighting has color customization that can be programmed to any specific shade. We find that a warm white candle light color is very popular at wedding receptions. We have also provided wedding lighting in pink, blue, green and rainbow.

Uplight batteries last a surprisingly long time! Often 12-14 hours, if not longer.
We return the following morning after our events and find the majority of our uplighting is still bright and showing 50%+ battery remaining.
